Gate arm comes down on car
- Check detector
- If red light is on, reset detector with toggle on face. If red light comes back on check loop.
- Check loop with Ohm meter. If loop measures infinite, replace loop. If it measures low resistance, call factory.
- Check controller
- Look at what type of controller you have and call factory for details on testing controller.
NOTE: If you have back up parts, start by replacing detector, then controller.

Gate arm goes up & down by itself
- Adjust limit switch cams by moving them toward limit switch. First the up then the down limit switch.
- Replace broken limit switch.

Gate flange that holds gate arm is loose

Gate arm won't go up
- Try to raise gate manually with auto/manual switch. If this fails, check:
- belt for slipping
- motor - is it turning?
- gear-reducer - internal gear might be broken
- call factory

Gate has power but nothing happens
- Let motor cool down
- Reset motor overload located at bottom of motor. You should feel it click in.

Gate arm is stuck in the air
- Check to see if detector is de-tuned. Reset detector with toggle switch on face.
- Take field wires off of vend contact to see if the card reader or loop for example are holding gate in the air.
- Check for limit switch failure
- Check what type of controller you have and call factory
